I Know Who I Am!
Many of us have been given names by our parents, called names by those around us, and being described by what we have or don’t have, by what we did and didn’t do, what we said and didn’t say. However, we are not what they say we are….. unless we agree with them.
The words you say to yourself or use to finish this sentence ‘I am… ‘ would affect your destiny and that of your offspring more than you would ever imagine. Be careful who you say you are, and about the confessions of your mouth. Life and death are in the tongue…
Declare this with me:
I am a beloved child of God ( 1 John 3:3, John 1:12), I am God’s workmanship (Ephesians 2:10). I am accepted (Ephesians 1:6), redeemed and forgiven (Colossians 1:14), and complete in Jesus Christ. (Colossians 2:10). I have been established, anointed and sealed by God (2 Corinthians 1:21-22).
I am a joint heir with Jesus, sharing His inheritance with Him. (Romans 8:17). I am seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenly realm (Ephesians 2:6), and hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:1-4). I am an overcomer, because greater is He that is in me, than He that is in the world (1 John 4:4).
I am free from condemnation (Romans 8:1-2), (hence) do not have a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). I am assured that God works for my good in all circumstances (Romans 8:28) and I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13). I am a branch of Jesus Christ, the true vine, and a channel of His life (John 15:5), and have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit (John 15:16). By the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, I am rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).
Don’t let anyone tell you anything different. You are more than who they say you are. Stay blessed.
