Walking though
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley….” Psalm 23:4 NIV
I don’t believe God promised that He would make sure we never get to be in the valleys. Did He?! This means each and everyone of us would experience valleys if we get to live long enough!
But the consolation and the assurance is that: He will always be there with us to comfort us and hence make our ‘valleys experience’ more bearable! That’s great news! What a mighty God we serve! I’m sure He promised to take us to mountain tops, to the peaks, right?
Even though valleys are almost guaranteed to each of us; there is one more thing I want to touch on and that is; valleys experiences are not permanent, they come to pass; especially to those who depend on God and call upon His name!
The Psalmist say… ‘Even though I WALK THROUGH’! Brethren, valleys are there to ‘walk through’ not to ‘remain in’ nor ‘dwell in’ them. There are not there to have a pity party in nor to blame for your unfulfilled dreams.
No matter how dark the valleys are, God is able to hold our hand and walk us out and through them, in Jesus’ name!
The smell of death, the thought of defeat and the taunts from our enemies whilst we are in the valley cannot change the fact that we are walking through it. Your valley experience is turning into your ‘walk-through experience’ through God! If God did it before, He can do it again. Whatever the heavens started, hell cannot stop it!
You are walking through it and your walking through it strong and with Godspeed! Your walk-through experience is now. Start celebrating and worshipping God because you are heading for a mountain top.
